Cygnet Interventional Device Platform

The Cygnet product platform of interventional devices with a detachable sheath has been generated to fulfill the needs of clinicians across medical fields for next-generation, cost-effective devices that will enable minimal access, percutaneous (via a small skin incision) procedures for placement of an outer, detachable sheath for continued access for aspiration, biopsy, and other interventions (e.g. bone marrow biopsy and harvest).

Design Features:

  • SpeedBird Universal guidance for placement of an outer, detachable sheath enabling continued access for aspiration, biopsy, and other interventions (e.g. bone marrow biopsy and autologous stem cell harvest).

 

 

Currently, no other devices with the capabilities of Cygnet are available for the healthcare market.

Potential clinical applications for the Cygnet family of devices are numerous.  Cygnet devices are expected to provide solutions for a wide range of clinical needs around the world.

Health Care Advancements:

  • Cygnet platform technologies utilize TransMed7’s patented Zero5 technology, with a forward-cutting, forward-coring working element.
  • Cygnet devices can obtain continuous, large volume tissue samples.
  • Cygnet devices will be highly cost effective and designed to provide a high degree of safety, efficacy, and ease of use.

Development Status:

The Cygnet devices are currently being developed under a TransMed7 internal Project .
