The ThunderBird product platform of soft tissue biopsy devices has been generated to fulfill the needs of clinicians across medical fields for next-generation, minimally invasive, cost-effective devices designed to safely, reliably, and consistently obtain high-quality Core Biopsy samples in conjunction with laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures.

The ThunderBird devices are manufactured in a variety of gauge sizes and needle lengths to be compatible with current laparoscopic and thoracoscopic instruments.

ThunderBird devices, with their open central lumens, may allow additional imaging modalities for precise targeting and capture of tissues.

Robotic procedures application

ThunderBird RO has been designed for use with robotic systems, and with the VacuTower as a vacuum/power source/control module and either a Remote Control Unit (RCU) or our newest Wireless Control Unit (WCU), allows for precise tissue biopsy with imaging modalities for robotic laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures.
